Owen Towles

Multi-percussionist

Owen Towles has been a percussionist for over 15 years. He has spent time learning rhythms from two different continents, having traveled to Brazil, Guinea, and Mali. While in Africa he studied with drummers and dancers from the National Ballet of Guinea. Owen has been a member of Lannaya since it’s inception in 2001. Owen also performs with Acadêmicos da Ópera (also known as the Austin  Samba School), Huerta Culture, and Shrine.
