Dancer, Company Teacher
Mami Sayon Camara is an accomplished West African drum/dance performer from Guinea, and new Lannaya performer and Company Teacher (she teaches technique to Lannaya company members). She has worked as a professional artist since the age of ten. In Guinea, she was part of several professional dance companies where she taught, performed and toured for ceremonies, celebrations and other special occasions. She has danced, trained and performed throughout the US since 2021. Member of several dance companies in Guinea, Africa, including the Kissidugu Foundation.
