Taylor Conaler

Apprentice Dancer

Taylor Conaler is a 24 year old Texas State University Graduate! As a Dance major, her focus was  Performance and Choreography, with a minor in International Studies. She was a member of the dance department’s 2019 Europe classes and performance.

Taylor is from New Orleans, Louisiana, and has been dancing since she was 2. Her training includes Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical (her favorite!), Modern, Hip Hop, different culture’s Vernacular, Street Jazz, and everything in between. In high school, Taylor was a two-year lieutenant and Senior captain of her school’s Pure Gold Dance Team. Taylor has trained, competed, and won at many dance conventions such as Tremaine Dance, 24Seven, Encore Performing Arts, Debbie Dance Intensive, etc. Scholarships include Streetz’s Galveston nationals. Taylor has choreographed many award-winning solos and group routines for her old dance team and the city’s surrounding groups.
