Multi-percussionist

Dave White has been playing percussion for over 25 years, and West African percussion since 2000. He has studied with numerous West African drummers in the U.S., Spain, and Guinea, including Mohammed Camara, Fara Tolno, Yamoussa Camara, Lamin Camara, Aboubacar Sylla, Alseny Sylla, Facinet Bangoura, Lansana Kouyate, Mohammed Kouyate, Abdoul Dumbia, Moussa Traore, Moussa Keita, and others. Dave teaches classes across the country and has been performing and recording since the age of thirteen. He is a founding member of Lannaya.
